Knee Arthroscopy

Knee Arthroscopy

Menisci are disks in the knee that act as cushions between the ends of a thighbone and lower leg bones.

Twisting injury of the knee or degeneration of ageing joint can cause the tear of meniscus. The knee becomes painful and difficult to move. The treatment involves inserting a fiberoptic camera (the arthroscope) and miniature instruments into the joint to remove or repair the torn portions of meniscus.
